““I began with Firefly Yoga on February 1, 2023. A year later I’m still going three times a week; this is the longest I have stayed with any program in my 68 years. The owners and instructors are very qualified, and the atmosphere is warm and accepting; they are also personable, kind and compassionate. I have had both knees replaced, carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists, back issues, and I have arthritis. I mainly do chair yoga combined with standing (knees/wrists are still strengthening), while others are on mats and I have never felt out of place. Instructors make a concerted effort to get to know you so they can help with poses and offer suggestions. I am definitely stronger, better balanced, and more comfortable in my body than I’ve been in many years. I am looking forward to continuing with Firefly Yoga in 2024. Thank you for being a yoga home for everyone. ”

Over the years I have practiced various types of yoga and visited many studios. I can honestly say that Firefly Yoga is my favorite. The staff has offered me much-needed tips and guidance for my practice that I’ve neglected to find anywhere else. The ability the instructors have for noticing small things is amazing. I’ve tried for the last 50 years to do a pushup (chaturanga). It wasn’t until I was observed and corrected in my form that I was successful at this.
