This workshop is designed to release stored tension and increase mobility in the hips. The hips are the foundation of our body, the root of the spine, and they hold up our torso. Through daily life they accumulate stress, become tight, and greatly limit our range of motion. We will practice a series of specific bio-mechanical exercises for the hips, warming up for a set of advanced hip-opening asanas. The class will end in choosing and practicing a seated meditation posture best for your body. $15 or a class card.
